Contoured shin plate protector is injected with high modulus PU for a high level of impact and abrasion resistance. Extended inside plate is injected with medium/low durometer PU and guards the side and toe-box area of the boot. The inner side of the boot is designed for excellent contact and grip against the bike and provides a high level of support. Wide calf protector plate is injected with PU for high impact resistance. Injected PU heel protector guards the outer ankle and features an additional shock absorbing insert on the back of the boot. Stainless steel sole guard. Thick and wide stamped suede on the inner side of the boot guards against heat and increases grip. 3-stage instep flex zone for maximum comfort, control and support. Leather upper. Exclusive dual compound rubber sole provides improved grip and superior durability in high wear areas. Sole features a contoured stamped steel shank. Closure structure is made of high impact resistant technopolymer and features four buckles with memory and a quick release/locking system. Low profile buckles feature an innovative self-aligning design for easy closure, a new guard on the first and second buckles and a top and bottom reverse closure design for superior impact avoidance and fit. Top of the boot is sealed with a VelcroŽ strap connected to elastic stretch PVC. Poly fabric lining laminated with open cell foam. High density contoured padding provides shock absorption for the heel and ankle areas. Patented "ankle brace" protector. Removeable anatomic footbed. Extended gaiter helps prevent water entry. |
